About Us
The NABIP San Antonio Chapter is one of fourteen (14) local chapters of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals Texas Chapter (NABIP-TX), a state chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). NABIP San Antonio represents licensed independent health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals through out the San Antonio and surrounding areas. NABIP represents over 100,000 professional health insurance agents and brokers and have over 200 chapters across the country.
Message from our NABIP San Antonio President
Hello NABIP San Antonio Chapter!
I am very proud and honored to serve for another term as NABIP San Antonio Chapter President! Over this past year, the Board and I have focused on refreshing the Chapter and getting monthly events back up and running. We’ve hosted 2 large day-long events this past year mixed in with some CE Lunch & Learns and some Happy Hours. We thank you for attending and supporting your San Anonio Chapter!
For this new 2025-26 term, we’ve added 3 new Chair positions for maximum support to our Chapter and Membership. We now have 17 serving on the Board! The synergy and talent are fantastic, please join us as a volunteer anytime. There are many opportunities for you to be part of in our forward-moving Chapter!
A little about me, I'm an Agency Owner here in San Antonio and have been in the Health Insurance industry for the past 26 years, mainly on the Health Plan side. My family and I moved to San Antonio from the Pacific Northwest about 3 years ago where I had previously spent my time in SE Alaska, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The sunshine here is therapeutic! I’m still trying to get used to the critters, though!
I spent several years in Oregon on the State and Local NABIP Boards and planned many successful events back in the day: CEO Roundtables and the Annual Spring Forum, to name a few! It made perfect sense to throw my hat into the ring as President of our Chapter last year, to help refresh it and keep the Chapter active here in San Antonio.
